Title: MID-LEVEL APPLICATION DEVELOPERLocation: Stafford, VA (Hybrid)We want to be transparent that the rates for these roles are lower than standard market levels. This is a unique situation with this particular client, and the budget constraints are outside of our control.While we understand this may limit candidate options, we are still seeking qualified professionals who are open to working within these parameters.This role supports a program providing application design, development, enhancement and implementation support to mission critical law enforcement applications. These applications are designed to manage large data sets and indexes and support information sharing, data analysis, and electronic exchange to support investigations and collaboration to identify previously unknown connections and streamline the processes for searching and utilizing available data sets.The primary functions for this position include:Design and develop testable code using C#, HTML, Blazor, and Entity FrameworkDevelop and maintain unit and integration testsActively participate in Agile sprint planning and retrospectivesParticipate as a team member in sprint demonstrations and presentations to product stakeholdersRequired Skills:Must Hold Active Secret clearanceAble to work across services, able to identify potential challenges, design and communicate solutionsDeveloping unit tests with NUnit , xUnit, or other frameworksRelational database design and development experience, preferably using SQL ServerExperience developing web-based applications , including use of HTML5 and CSS3Experience developing or consuming services and RESTful APIsExperience developing with component-based frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, or ReactExperience working with AWS or Azure services and cloud technologiesExperience working with an Agile team using Scrum , XP, Kanban, or other Lean development approachesKnowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHubExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsDesire to work in a collaborative and team-focused environmentStrong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and solid troubleshooting abilityDesired Skills:Knowledge of DevOps techniques and approaches to software developmentKnowledge of Docker and containersKnowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologyKnowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD)
