Quality Control Manager (KG) Salary Range $1.00 - $1.00 Salary Position Type Full Time Job Shift Any Education Level Graduate Degree Travel Percentage None Category ManagementDescription Job Title: Quality Control ManagerDepartment: Facility Operations and SupportJob Summary: Independent professional performing preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance inspections of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work, but possesses a high level of attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow proficient as we assure quality results provided to our customer, providing accurate timely reporting as required, communicating effectively to management as well as subcontractors through routine quality control checks, establishing a good rapport with facility contacts and affiliate personnel.Supervisory Responsibilities:Manage and develop workload schedulesDevelop training and awareness programs on ground maintenance and best practicesEnsure all federal, state, and local statuary requirements are followedEnsuring that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met in accordance with the job site requirementsAssisting with the hiring, interviewing, and training processesWriting forecasts or predictions for a team productivityDuties/Responsibilities:Perform quality control inspections in facility operations, maintenance, and facility repairResponsible for assuring subcontractor results follow the requirements of the Quality Control Plan by performing routine inspection checksProvide timely, accurate, and relevant data and analysis to enable effective management of maintenance operationsPerform on-site inspections of service at all stages to ensure the highest possible quality standardsAnalyze data feeds and error logs to determine points of failure and devise solutionsCreate and present recommendations to streamline production processes in ways that heighten quality standardsEnsure final services adhere to all specifications and regulationsPlan, develop, and implement quality systems to ensure mission successInvestigating, analyzing, containing, and correcting quality problemsPerform audits and implement new strategies to improve the condition and performanceRequired Skills/Abilities:Proficient in written and oral communication skills according to skill requirementsPossess strong computer skills, able to read, write, and comprehend written instructional documentsAbility to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environmentAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumeAbility to apply concepts of introductory algebra and geometryProficient Microsoft Office productivity suiteEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentAt least four years of related experience requiredAt least one of the following certifications or similarCertified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)Physical Requirements:Prolonged period of standing, bending, reaching, and working with handsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerOccasional periods of prolonged exposure to loud noisesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds at timesAbility to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands as necessaryAbility to hear and see to position and safety requirement levelsOccasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicalsSpecial Qualifications/Requirements:Must be able to successfully pass as required a federal, state, or local government's background investigationDisclaimer:The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.
