Lead Pest & Property Care Technician (Designated Certified Applicator – DCA)
Overview
TANGO is a new kind of property care company.
We show up happy to handle the hard stuff, using premium, family- and pet-friendly products and we do it with real professionalism, uncommon service, and a little joy along the way.
We take care of pests, air, water, and the parts of a property most people would rather ignore.
Not reactively. Proactively.
We’re launching in Greenville, and we’re looking for the right technician to grow with us, not just fill a route.
The Opportunity
This is not an entry-level role.
We’re hiring an experienced technician who:
Knows their craft
Takes pride in doing things the right way
Is comfortable owning responsibility — not just clocking hours
From day one, you’ll:
Manage your own route
Serve as TANGO’s Designated Certified Applicator (DCA) in South Carolina
As we grow, this role is designed to expand into field leadership, helping train new technicians and shape how TANGO operates in the field.
If you’ve ever thought, “I could run this better,” this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work will reflect TANGO’s proactive service model and may include:
General pest control (interior & exterior)
Mosquito, flea, and tick treatments
Property inspections and service recommendations
Air filter replacements
Water filter replacements (refrigerators / filtration systems)
Dryer vent cleaning
Exterior window cleaning
Ductwork cleaning (as services expand)
You’ll be trusted to:
Perform services thoroughly and professionally
Communicate clearly and confidently with clients
Complete accurate service documentation
Protect route health through quality and consistency
Immediate Requirement: Designated Certified Applicator (DCA)
This position serves as the Designated Certified Applicator from day one, as required by South Carolina law.
That means you:
Hold an active South Carolina Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
Are registered as the DCA for the business
Oversee pesticide use, safety, and compliance
Ensure proper chemical handling, storage, and documentation
Maintain required CEUs
Act as the responsible applicator during inspections or audits
Provide oversight for apprentice or non-licensed technicians as required
This role carries real responsibility — and real trust.
Growth Path
As TANGO grows (and based on performance), this role can expand into:
Training and onboarding new technicians
Supporting field operations and service consistency
Helping refine routing, systems, and best practices
Growing into a Lead Technician / Field Operations Leader
We’re building something that lasts and we want leaders in the field who care about that.

Why TANGO
You’re trusted with real responsibility
Your pay grows with your performance
