Senior Quality Manager

Quality Manager ($85–105K)We’re conducting a search for a Quality Manager to join an established aerospace manufacturing leader in the Auburn - Skaneateles New York area. In this role, you’ll lead, mentor, and provide training to an established quality team, while communicating with customers to ensure product requirements are clear and consistently met.You’ll be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining compliance with aerospace quality standards (including AS9100), and ensuring the effectiveness of the company’s Quality Management System. This position plays a key role in supporting production, resolving quality issues, and partnering cross-functionally to improve processes and product performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the quality team (inspectors, technicians, and engineers)Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality communications and auditsEnsure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and other applicable industry standardsOversee internal audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and root cause analysisPartner with operations and engineering to drive continuous improvement initiativesMonitor and report on key quality metrics (KPIs) and trendsManage supplier quality issues and support vendor qualification effortsEnsure proper documentation, inspection processes, and quality procedures are followedQualificationsAssociates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Previous quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in aerospace or highly regulated industries preferredStrong knowledge of AS9100, ISO standards, and quality systemsProven ability to lead teams and drive process improvementsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsWhy This OpportunityJoin a stable and growing, well-established manufacturerLead an experienced team with strong internal supportHigh visibility role with direct impact on operations and customer satisfactionCompetitive compensation and benefits package
