You'll guide strategic procurement and global supply chain initiatives while developing and supporting a skilled team responsible for ensuring uninterrupted supply of critical materials. Working closely with internal partners and suppliers, you'll optimize inventory levels, achieve cost savings, play an integral part in new product introductions and implement effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic decisions while maintaining the balance between product availability and inventory optimization.RequirementsBachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in procurement/sourcing/supply chain in global distribution or manufacturing environmentPreferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fieldAPICS, CPSM or equivalent professional certification preferred3-5 years of people management experience leading procurement teamsProven expertise in ERP systems (E1 preferred) and MRP processesDemonstrated success in delivering cost savings and process improvementsExperience developing and implementing procurement strategies and policiesDemonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contractsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision makingExperience with inventory optimization techniques (JIT, consignment, global distribution)Knowledge of regulatory requirements in life sciences/pharmaceutical industry preferredEffective in cross-functional collaboration and matrix leadershipStrong project management and change management capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and procurement analytics toolsClear communication and presentation skillsCommitment to continuous improvement methodologiesAbility to balance strategic planning with tactical executionDemonstrated leadership qualities: integrity, accountability, and focus on results
