Radiation Therapist I

Under general direction and supervision and in accordance with prescription, operates x-ray therapy equipment in order to simulate and/or treat patients for malignancies and pain.Responsibilities:Documents treatment procedures in patient's charts and verifies accuracy.Performs quality assurance checks daily on equipment.Performs calculations when required.Performs basic dosimetry calculation.Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or graduate of a CAHEA accredited school to Radiation Therapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Current registration or registry eligible with the ARRT.
