HEAVY EQUIPMENT LUBE TECHNICIAN

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Supports operations in performing routine vehicle maintenance on equipment including diesel trucks and trailers. Locates sources of problems by inspecting, observing and knowledge and completes needed maintenance in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform needed maintenance on equipment Maintain sanitation and housekeeping in work area Fueling equipment as needed Additional duties as assigned. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work overtime during the week or on weekends. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write and perform basic math. Resourceful, well organized and dependable. Excellent communication skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk with alternate standing. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a dry, sometimes dusty environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
