Preschool Sports Teacher

The Starz Program is hiring teachers for our Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk) location. The position will entail teaching Sports and/or Cheer.classes in various preschools and private schools within the area. This position is less than PART TIME (3-6 classes throughout the week), Monday-Friday during the day time hours. (between 10:00 am and 4:30 pm) Classes Available (4): Wednesdays 10:00 am and 12:00 pm Fridays 10:00 am and 11:45 am Position Details: This is a less than part-time role, with around 5 classes per week, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours. Teacher must have reliable transportation to drive to and from partner sites. $25 per class What We’re Looking For in a Starz Teacher: Responsible: Arrives early to each class, can manage up to 10 students, organized, and able to keep accurate attendance. Professional: Maintains a neat appearance, and interacts positively with partner school staff. Enthusiastic: Loves working with young children (primarily ages 3-6) and can confidently engage with them. Fun: Enjoys having fun, using imagination, and creating a joyful learning environment, while effectively managing and teaching the class. Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
