Production & Inventory Control ManagerMy client, a Global Manufacturer and a leader in their market, is seeking to attract a dynamic Production & Inventory Control Manager to lead the evolution of their production planning, control, storage, and material distribution within their contract manufacturing operation, located in Rochester, NY. The company offers an exceptional suite of world class benefits, a generous PTO plan, and continuous career growth potential.The Production & Inventory Control Manager will:Manage a Production Control and Warehousing team of roughly 18 individuals.Lead an effort to improve production and inventory control procedures.Act as a change agent to improve communications and team culture.Have direct input on ERP improvement efforts.Requirements:Must have extensive experience in contract manufacturing; its requirements and planning.Must have 5 to 10 years of production and inventory control management experience within a contract manufacturer - low volume / high mix environment.Must be a practitioner of Continuous Improvement methods. Experience applying Operational Excellence is strongly preferred.Experience as a Change Agent overcoming embedded old school beliefs is strongly preferred.Will have ideally managed a team of at least 10 individuals.Proficiency with computerized materials control programs ERP is required; JD Edwards ERP Software experience would be a huge plus, but it is not required.
