Project Manager – Food Manufacturing

Location: Batavia, OH (Hybrid | Local candidates only)No C2C Inquiries!ASAP is hiring on behalf of our client for a Project Manager to support capital projects within a food manufacturing environment . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a large-scale production facility, with a focus on equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and plant operations projects.This role is ideal for a hands‐on Project Manager with experience leading projects in processing or manufacturing environments , particularly within food or beverage production.Key Responsibilities Support development of pre‐project approval documentation including project management plans, cost estimates, schedules, and change management plansPrepare stakeholder communication materials, including project updates and presentations for leadership teamsMonitor design progress and ensure deliverables align with project scope, schedule, and budgetDevelop bid packages, lead bid events, and manage contract execution for design consultants and construction teamsOversee installation, construction, and commissioning activities for assigned projectsManage project scope and ensure proper documentation and approval of all changesTrack and control project budgets, including cost forecasting and cash flow projectionsMaintain detailed project schedules and ensure milestones are achievedProvide on‐site construction management support and assist with plant startup activitiesQualifications 5–10 years of project management experience (open to strong candidates with 3–5 years)Experience in food manufacturing required ; processing environment experience preferredProven ability to manage capital projects within a plant or production settingStrong communication and collaboration skills across cross‐functional teamsSelf‐starter with strong leadership and problem‐solving abilitiesWhat You'll Be Working On Equipment replacements and upgrades (e.g., dryers, filling systems, production equipment)Facility improvements and new construction projectsPlant modernization and operational efficiency initiativesHybrid work environment with onsite presence required#J-18808-Ljbffr
