Director of Service & AutomationRocky Hill, CT$160K–$200K + BenefitsWe are seeking an experienced Director of Service & Automation to lead and scale a high-performing service operations organization focused on automation, customer success, operational excellence, and long-term business growth. This senior leadership role will oversee service operations, sales, financial performance, workforce utilization, customer retention, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business unit.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in service operations, automation, field services, P&L management, and customer relationship management within industrial, automation, mechanical, or technical service environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute annual business plans focused on revenue growth, profitability, recurring revenue, and customer retentionOversee Service & Automation operations, service sales, maintenance agreements, and customer account growthManage full P&L responsibilities including forecasting, budgeting, margins, billing, utilization, and financial performanceDevelop KPIs, reporting dashboards, and operational performance metricsDrive workforce planning, technician utilization, operational efficiency, and field productivityLead pricing strategies, contract renewals, maintenance agreement retention, and profitability initiativesBuild strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of service quality and customer satisfactionPartner cross-functionally with operations, sales, finance, and leadership teamsDevelop and mentor service managers, technicians, and operational leadersSupport continuous improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, and system/process enhancementsEnsure compliance with safety programs, field procedures, and operational standardsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredStrong leadership experience managing service operations or automation-focused business unitsProven experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and operational managementExperience leading field service, maintenance, automation, or technical service teamsStrong customer relationship management and account growth experienceDemonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency, workforce utilization, and profitabilityStrong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience working with KPIs, reporting systems, and operational dashboardsPreferred BackgroundIndustrial automation, controls, HVAC, mechanical services, manufacturing, or technical service industry experienceExperience managing recurring revenue/service contract businessesExperience leading multi-site or large field service organizationsContinuous improvement, operational excellence, or process optimization experienceWork EnvironmentLeadership role within a fast-paced technical service environmentHigh level of cross-functional collaborationCustomer-facing and operational leadership responsibilitiesOpportunity to drive strategic growth and organizational impactPride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment OpportunityPride Global and its affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
