Construction Inspection Agent
We are representing a client seeking several Construction Inspection Agents to support field operations throughout Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. This position is ideal for professionals who prefer a fast-paced, on-the-go work environment and take pride in verifying that buildings meet required accessibility and construction standards. Candidates with experience in construction oversight, facility evaluations, or regulatory compliance will be well suited for this role. Compensation for this role is up to $52K.Position QualificationsActive driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle recordAbility to successfully complete a comprehensive background screening prior to employmentPrevious experience conducting building inspections, accessibility reviews, or construction-related compliance workStrong ability to organize work independently and manage multiple site visits efficientlyEffective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and client interactionWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and TeamsPhysical capability to navigate job sites, including standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds as neededWillingness to travel daily to inspection sites throughout the region Job DutiesConduct on-site inspections at medical and commercial facilities to verify compliance with accessibility and construction standardsAssess exterior and interior building features such as parking areas, entrances, pathways, signage, restrooms, and treatment or exam spacesInspect fire and life-safety systems, including fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and sprinkler infrastructureReview design drawings and construction documents and provide feedback related to accessibility and compliance improvementsRecord findings, measurements, and photographic documentation using mobile devices and electronic reporting systemsCoordinate inspection schedules and ensure all site visits and documentation are completed accurately and on timeBuild and maintain professional relationships with clients, facility personnel, and internal team membersAttend team meetings, remain informed of regulatory updates, and adhere to established safety and quality standardsEnsure all inspection reports, supporting photos, and compliance records are submitted promptly and accurately Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly compensation with travel-related reimbursementsOpportunities for long-term advancement within construction inspection and compliance fieldsOngoing training and support from an experienced and collaborative teamAutonomy and flexibility while working across multiple sitesThe opportunity to contribute directly to safer, more accessible facilities Not ready to apply yet?
