ABOUT US:Mello is a premium custom merchandise and production company based in Austin, Texas. We work with fast-growing brands in food, beverage, lifestyle, hospitality, and retail to create high-quality, design-forward apparel, headwear, and branded goods that people actually want to wear and keep.Role Overview:We're looking for a skilled Screen Printer / Automatic Press Operator to join our in-house production team. You'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our automatic press, ensuring top-tier print quality, and helping us scale production in our new warehouse.This is a key role as we build out our production capabilities.Responsibilities:Operate automatic screen printing presses (Workhorse Sabre or similar preferred)Set up jobs, including screens, inks, registration, and test printsMaintain consistent print quality across runsMix inks and match colors accuratelyTroubleshoot printing issues in real timeWork closely with production and design teams to execute jobs correctlyMaintain equipment and keep workstations clean and organizedAssist with reclaiming screens and shop workflow as neededQualifications:2+ years of screen printing experience (automatic press preferred)Strong understanding of inks, curing, registration, and garment typesExperience with high-quality or retail-level printing is a big plusDetail-oriented with a strong eye for qualityAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentTeam player with a positive attitudeNice to Have:Experience with Workhorse Sabre pressesKnowledge of specialty inks (puff, discharge, water-based, etc.)Experience in premium apparel or fashion-oriented productionFamiliarity with reclaiming processes and darkroom workflowsWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly pay + growth opportunitiesPerformance bonuses based on output and qualityOpportunity to grow into a production manager roleWork on high-quality, creative projects - not just basic printsNew warehouse and production setupTight-knit, ambitious team environmentWhy Join Mello:We're building something big - a premium, modern merch company that blends design, production, and brand experience.
