This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Operate rubber molding presses (compression/transfer/injection) according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)Load raw rubber materials and remove finished molded parts from pressesInspect parts for defects such as flash, voids, or incomplete curingTrim excess material (flash) using hand tools or trimming equipmentMonitor press temperature, pressure, and cycle timesPerform basic machine adjustments as needed within training limitsFollow production schedules and meet hourly output targetsMaintain clean and organized work area (5S standards)Complete production and quality documentation accuratelyReport equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns to supervisorsMaintain accurate production logs, recording output, quality checks, and any machine adjustments made during operations.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and improve processes.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing processes is a plus.Direct experience operating and troubleshooting rubber molding equipment.Previous experience as a Rubber Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs.Adhere to ISO 90001Work Environment and Physical Demands:Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.Wear protective safety equipmentMay be exposed to possible shop hazards including heavy machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.Stooping, bending, walking and standing for the duration of work shiftComfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift at least 50lbsManual DexterityFollow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.Work responsibilities are not limited to descriptions mentioned on this job posting.
