Family Law Paralegal

Job Description This is a full-time, in-office position located in the North Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle. As a vital part of our team, you will: * Draft Litigation Documents: Prepare pleadings, protection orders, correspondence, and discovery notices, with a primary focus on family law matters. * Client & Witness Engagement: Interview clients and witnesses to gather critical case information. * Professional Communication: Act as a key point of contact for clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other professionals. * Research & Workflow: Conduct legal research, track case workflows, and manage critical deadlines, including the scheduling of hearings, meetings, and mediations. * File Management: Organize client files and perform related administrative tasks to ensure a seamless practice. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented paralegal who enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients alike. The ideal candidate will bring: * Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of Family Law paralegal experience. * Certification: Paralegal certification with civil litigation experience in a private practice setting. * Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of court procedures and court rules (King County/WA State). * Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to support multiple attorneys and manage diverse matters simultaneously. * Communication: Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
