Multiple years of experience as a high school runner, collegiate runner, or as a coach.2. Knowledge of cross country skills, rules, and applicable drills.Reports to and evaluated by: Athletic DirectorSupervises: N/AJob Goal: To assist in promoting our cross country program in which the students can excel to their full potential while competing in an atmosphere that adds to their total education including their physical well-being, moral character, and social and mental development.Essential Duties & Performance Responsibilities:Develop organized practice plans.They shall carry out such duties as help with home events as directed by the athletic director.The head coaches shall set up practice schedules, and it will be the duty of the assistant coaches to follow this schedule as to time and content.General supervision (Practices, meets, and community events).All assistant coaches will attend meetings called by the athletic director or head coach.Issue equipment as well as the checking in of equipment.
