Mechanisms Engineer, Payloads

Overview In this role you will design, develop, and qualify payload deployment and articulation mechanisms for satellite buses, owning hardware from concept to flight. You will work within Apex’s satellite engineering team to ensure reliable operation in the space environment and seamless integration with spacecraft and payload systems. The position offers high-impact work at scale, contributing to a mission that enables humanity’s access to space. You will collaborate across functions to drive robust mechanical hardware, testing, and manufacturing readiness.
