Licensed Nail Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician/Lead Nail Tech to join our beauty team. This role involves providing high-quality nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail art, while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nail care and esthetic treatments, with leadership qualities to guide and support junior staff. Duties Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art using current techniques. Provide advanced treatments including eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments as applicable. Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards. Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail designs, colors, and additional beauty services like body waxing or hair extensions. Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty tools to enhance client experience. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians to uphold service quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work station while managing appointment schedules efficiently. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, color theory, and beauty treatments to provide innovative services. Experience Proven experience as a Nail Technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work. Knowledge of cosmetology principles including color theory, sanitation practices, and skin/hair/nail care techniques. Familiarity with advanced beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, body waxing, hair styling, dermabrasion, and barbering is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques to promote products confidently. Strong communication skills combined with retail math proficiency for accurate transactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities as a Lead Nail Tech.
