This role leads production employees, coordinates workflow, enforces safety procedures, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, andschedule requirementsAssign work tasks and monitor workflow to en sure efficient use of labor andequipmentEnsure production targets, deadlines, and performance standards are achievedCommunicate production priorities and changes to the teamLead, train, coach, and motivate production employeesConduct employee evaluati ons, disciplinary actions, and performance feedbackin coordination with HRSupport onboarding and training of new employeesEnforce OSHA, company safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe workpracticesConduct safety talks, incident investigations, and corrective actions as requiredEnsure proper machine operation and lockout/tagout procedures are followedIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processesParticipate in Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement initiativesCommunicate production issues and improvement suggestions to managementQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environmentPrevious supervisory or lead experience preferredStrong knowledge of safety practices and production processesAbility to lead teams and manage multiple prioritiesExperience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvementPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodationAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and machinery
