Job Description Job duties may include but are not limited to the following: Perform a variety of skilled carpentry work in the construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of wooden structure and fixtures, such as architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, metal and wood framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, etc.Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurementsReview blueprints or specifications to determine work requirementsComplete assigned carpentry tasks with quality workmanshipOperate a variety of power/manual tools and equipment used in skilled carpentryPerform heavy physical laborFollow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environmentAbility to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerAbility to follow instructions from supervisors and foremenKnowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and proceduresOn-the-job training offered This position is safety-sensitive.
