Job OverviewJoin our dynamic team as a Store Manager, where you will be instrumental in driving sales and profitability while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Your leadership will create an exceptional shopping experience for customers and cultivate a motivated team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFoster a warm and engaging atmosphere for customers, delivering exceptional service and support.Successfully complete the Management Training Program to enhance your leadership capabilities.Recruit and train a qualified Assistant Manager under the guidance of your District Manager.Collaborate with your Assistant Manager to recruit and train additional store personnel.Seek counsel from the District Manager regarding personnel or operational challenges; if unavailable, consult with the Regional Vice-President or Senior Vice-President of Store Operations.Manage inventory shrinkage, ensuring it remains within 2.5% of annual sales while striving for a Shrink Check Test score of 80 or above.Uphold company safety protocols and cultivate strong relationships with local law enforcement for security support.Create weekly schedules for store staff, adhering to the assigned payroll budget and addressing any issues swiftly.Delegate tasks effectively and train all employees on their roles, ensuring adherence to company policies.Report payroll information accurately and maintain balanced inventory through authorized company procedures.Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including merchandise displays and stockroom areas.Oversee verification of all merchandise receipts and ensure proper pricing in line with company guidelines.Communicate promptly with the District Manager regarding defective merchandise, sales trends, and vendor shipment issues.Manage the store’s cash funds and sales receipts, diligently enforcing cash handling and security procedures.Ensure all reports, records, and inventories are accurate and completed in accordance with company policies.Notify your District Manager of any planned absences during regular work hours.Maintain confidentiality regarding all store sales and company information.Obtain District Manager approval for expenditures exceeding $50.00.Work the designated hours as required by your District Manager and perform any additional duties as assigned.Implement company programs, such as incentive plans and promotions, effectively to maximize benefits for both associates and customers.Exhibit positive leadership through professionalism, communication, knowledge, and sound judgment to enhance store morale.Required SkillsStrong planning, coaching, and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; an AS/AA degree plus two years of related experience preferred.Minimum of three years of store management experience.Career Growth OpportunitiesThis position offers significant opportunities for professional development, including leadership training and mentorship to advance your career within the retail sector.Company Culture and ValuesWe pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative work environment that values teamwork and supports the development of our employees.
