Senior HVAC Design TechnicianLocation: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week required)Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior HVAC Design Technician who can contribute immediately in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.In this role, you will lead the design and development of industrial HVAC and process exhaust systems for advanced facilities. This position is ideal for an experienced designer who can work independently, apply strong technical judgment, and deliver high-quality design solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, layout, and routing of industrial mechanical/HVAC systemsDevelop:P&IDsPlans, sections, and detailed construction drawingsExecute design work across:PlanningConcept developmentDetailed design phasesCoordinate with:ClientsContractorsInternal engineering and design teamsEnsure compliance with applicable mechanical codes and standardsDeliver accurate, high-quality design packages with minimal supervisionRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED8+ years of AutoCAD design experience4+ years of Revit design experience5+ years of industrial mechanical/HVAC design experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes , especially the International Mechanical Code (IMC)Proven ability to work independently and execute design packagesPreferred QualificationsExperience in complex industrial environments such as:Semiconductor manufacturingCleanroomsData centersAdvanced manufacturing facilitiesTechnical or Associate's degree in a related fieldStrong communication (verbal and written) skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teamsAdvanced problem-solving and analytical skillsWork EnvironmentHybrid schedule: 2 days onsite per week in Tempe, AZFast-paced, collaborative design environmentOpportunity to work on advanced, high-tech industrial facilities
