To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired What You'll Do In this highly visible customer facing role as Solution Validation Services Consulting Engineer, you will: Engage with customers and other Client stakeholders on successful planning and execution of validation engagements. Support next generation R&S, Data Center, and Service Provider customers to accelerate implementation of new platforms/solutions. Validate new design solutions to meet customer requirements. Drive requirements discussions, analyze test requirements, build test lab configurations, author and execute test plans, and document results. Identify key issues and gaps and work with engineering and delivery teams to resolve them. Develop/integrate new technologies into lab environments. Collaborate with Solution Architects from Delivery and Sales teams regarding future initiatives and securing customer business. Innovate to gain efficiency and accelerate validation efforts. Collaborate with other engineers to ensure successful project delivery. Identify and facilitate new business growth opportunities.
