This internship offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, customer service, social media, retail media networks, and community engagement within a fast-growing retail organization. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about marketing, customer experience, and brand growth.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Online Reputation Management & Social ListeningManage and verify store listings across search engines, websites, mobile apps, ordering platforms, and other digital channelsMonitor online reviews and customer sentiment across multiple platformsParticipate in social listening efforts to identify customer trends, brand opportunities, and areas for improvementAssist in maintaining brand consistency and accuracy across all online platformsHelp track and report customer engagement and reputation metricsCustomer Service & Consumer EngagementSupport the customer service team with responding to customer inquiries and feedbackAddress customer concerns in a timely, professional, and solutions-oriented mannerMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and resolutionsCollaborate cross-functionally with departments including Operations, Marketing, and Technical Support to assist in resolving customer concernsHelp enhance the overall customer experience through proactive communication and supportContent Management & Digital MarketingAssist the Marketing Specialist with managing and updating content across digital media platformsSupport execution of the promotional calendar and ensure accurate advertising placement across internal and external marketing channelsAssist with content updates and communications for the Retail Media Network (RMN), including in-store music, digital screens, messaging, and promotional communicationsSupport website content optimization efforts to improve customer engagement and search visibilityAssist with SEO and SERP optimization initiatives to strengthen local search rankings and online presenceSupport digital asset organization and marketing content distributionEvent Marketing & Community EngagementAssist in planning, coordinating, and supporting charitable giving initiatives and community events, including the annual Fueling the Community Golf TournamentSupport promotional events, sponsorship activations, and brand engagement opportunitiesAssist with event setup, logistics, and on-site marketing supportProvide event coverage support alongside the Social Media CoordinatorAssist with content creation for social media platforms, including photography, video, captions, and event recapsSupport marketing efforts related to university partnerships, including Georgia Southern filming opportunitiesKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesFamiliarity with social media platforms and digital marketing conceptsInterest in SEO, digital advertising, and customer engagement strategiesAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new digital platformsRequirementsCurrently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Savannah, GAPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesAbility to travel locally for events, store visits, and community engagement opportunities as needed
