In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.Job PurposeSanmina is looking for detail oriented and dedicated Test Technician for our Fremont, CA location. In this role, you will set up and perform tests of complex electromechanical systems, primarily of semiconductor processing equipment, per standard procedures, documenting your results and assisting in troubleshooting when needed. This position is forNature of Duties/Responsibilities:Testing, troubleshooting and repairing at system level of electro mechanical systemsDocument the results of testing in approved forms or computer systemsTroubleshoot or identify errors in systems level testsIdentify and comply with quality and safety requirements while setting up and testing product with attention to ESD regulations and safe electrical working practicesPerform testing in a clean room environment as requiredPerform testing efficiently to support production needsSupport Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other related processes for continuous improvement of critical operational metrics across key functions.Perform related duties as assignedEducation and Experience:Associate Degree or Technician Certification in Electronics or Semiconductor Technology.Minimum 4 years of related industry experience in a testing roleMust be able to read and interpret electronic schematics and assembly drawings.Experience in using Test equipment including multi meter, oscilloscope, etc.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals/procedures/test plansExperience maintaining written and computerized records of work performedBasic knowledge of workplace productivity software such as Microsoft Office or Google ProductsMust be able to work closely with engineers.Ability to prioritize and plan effectivelyMust be self-directed, dependable, and motivated with excellent teamwork and time management skills.Additional Qualifications (Not Required)Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.Some previous experience in QC inspection for SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), or mechanical components.Familiarity with automated inspection tools or precision measurement instruments.This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.Salary Range (annual): $60,320 - $64,480 ($29.00 - $31.00) Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
