By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily production operations and ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.Lead, train, and mentor a team of manufacturing associates, providing guidance and performance feedback.Monitor production equipment and processes, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations.Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.Collaborate with other departments, such as planning, engineering, and maintenance, to optimize workflow.Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adequate stock levels.Conduct regular inspections of work areas and completed products to ensure quality control.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Recommended QualificationsProven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions efficiently.Experience with production scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.Bonus QualificationsExperience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) software and techniques.Certification in a relevant manufacturing or leadership discipline (e.g., Six Sigma, APICS).Familiarity with industrial automation and robotics.Bilingual in English and Spanish.Why Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
