Job DescriptionThe Nurse Practitioner provides high-quality and cost-effective pain management of patients under the care of the physician and within the state scope of practice. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the physician to coordinate and manage the process of patient care. Provides expanded primary health care services for a case load of patients in the areas of clinical specialization.This is an employed provider of Iredell Physician Network.RequirementsGraduation from an accredited school of nursing with MSN or DNP.Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in North Carolina.Pain management experience preferred.Ability to work as member of a team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Fundamental knowledge of PC based applications.Good physical and mental fitness to meet the demands made by patient, families and physicians.Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
