Industrial Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, high voltage systems, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Industrial Electrician will ensure that all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment. Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Work with logic controllers to build and modify control panels as needed. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC standards. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Skills Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Experience working with high voltage systems and equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in electrical work. Experience working in construction environments, particularly in industrial settings. Knowledge of logic controllers and their applications in industrial systems.
