Interim CFO - Anne Arundel County, MDAbout the Company and Interim CFO Opportunity:CFS is working with a well‑established multi entity organization to find an interim CFO to lead all financial operations.This is a high‑visibility leadership role partnering closely with executive leadership and volunteer boards, combining strategic financial oversight with active day‑to‑day involvement. The Interim CFO will play a critical role in long‑term stewardship, financial sustainability, and governance within a mission‑driven, community‑focused setting.Key Responsibilities of the Interim CFO:Oversee all accounting and financial operations for two entitiesLead annual budgeting, forecasting, and capital planningDevelop and deliver financial reporting, analysis, and recommendations to executive leadership and Board committeesEnhance internal controls, financial systems, reporting accuracy, and transparencyCollaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and long term financial planningLead, mentor, and develop the finance team while maintaining hands‑on involvement in core financial operationsIdeal Candidate Profile for the Interim CFO Role:Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related required. CPA highly preferred8+ years' accounting experience, ideally within non profit, property management, or hospitality industriesStrong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, reporting, and controls for a multi entity organizationProven senior‑level financial leader experience with both strategic and operational responsibilityComfortable in a highly visible, collaborative roleAbility to clearly communicate financial information to non‑financial stakeholdersAnalytical, easygoing, professional, and polite and able to interact with employees at all levels; Demonstrated experience working with Boards, committees, and executive leadershipAdvanced Excel skillsSchedule: 100% on site M-FSalary: $140,000-$170,000
