Hytek is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits.***Position Summary**We are seeking a Motors & Controls Technician with a strong technical foundation and a natural ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical and control systems.This role is ideal for someone who has grown up fixing things; whether in a manufacturing plant, a family farm, construction sites, maintenance shops, or similar hands'on environments, and is comfortable working with motors, controls, and equipment that doesn't come with a manual solution.You will work with motor control systems, PLCconnected equipment, VFDs, and both highand lowvoltage systems, supporting manufacturing and facility automation through practical problemsolving and reliability improvements.Why Join Us?** Hands on work with complex, real world equipment. Opportunities to grow technically and mentor others.**Key Responsibilities**Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial motors, motor controls, and electrical systems.Diagnose and resolve issues involving PLC connected equipment, VFDs, and 3 phase power systems.Produce clear, organized, and referenced electrical schematics and documentation.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliabilityApply systematic troubleshooting methods to identify root causes, not just symptoms.Support upgrades, retrofits, and equipment improvements in partnership with engineering and operations.Maintain compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.Actively participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.Assist with cross training and mentoring other maintenance personnel.Maintain high ethical standards, even u
