This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For moreInformation, Please Seehttps://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/jobs/13430774GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:** EWM Pickers are responsible for encouragingconsumer to work to their highest capacity and ensuring quality ofpackaged CAT parts.Responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with CWTCs mission,policies, and in a manner that supports individuals with disabilities.All employees are required to attend mandated training sessions.Essential Duties Perform Putaway and Picks systematically in EWM Set up new jobs for each consumer in assigned areas Count and pack finished CAT parts Keep accurate part counts and provide to Production Clerk to ensureproper payroll information for all consumers in assigned areas Ensure quality and quantity are met with tickets Keep consumes supplied with all necessary materials (labels, jiffy,vcietc)Other Duties Train new employees on work procedures Work in other production areas if necessary Encourage consumers to work to their highest capacity Perform other tasks, not inconsistent with qualifications or regularduties as assignedWORKING CONDITIONS:** Physical requirements include lifting 35 50pounds, bending, walking, pulling, pushing, and standing for longperiods of time. Environmental conditions include working indoors arounddust, cardboard and moving equipment. Interpersonal factors includelistening to consumer complaints and giving verbal encouragement ofproper work habits.RELATED CONDITION:** All employees are responsible for reporting anyinformation, however acquired, pertaining to possible abuse or neglectof consumers to the Director of Quality Improvement, the SafetyDirector, or the Executive Director.SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION:** Employees must follow all safetypolicies and use necessary protective equipment when applicable.Employees are responsible for reporting safety hazards and/or accidentsto their supervisors immediately.
