This role blends consultative sales with technical understanding, helping customers streamline logistics operations through system-to-system connectivity.You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical solutions, positioning API capabilities as a value driver in freight management.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales ExecutionAssist current sales personnel in upselling the Priority1 tech stackBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunitiesPresent logistics solutions with emphasis on API-enabled efficienciesSell new API subscriptions and help maintain existing connectionsAPI & Technology Solution SellingEducate customers on API functionality, integrations, and automation benefitsIdentify opportunities where clients can integrate shipping systems (ERP, WMS, eCommerce platforms)Translate technical features into clear business value (cost savings, speed, accuracy)Support onboarding of API clients in partnership with internal technical teamsAccount ManagementDevelop long-term relationships with clients and grow existing accountsMonitor customer performance and identify upsell opportunitiesEnsure successful adoption of Priority1’s technology toolsCollaborationWork closely with sales, operations, IT, and onboarding teamsCommunicate customer requirements for API integrations clearly to internal stakeholdersQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience1–3 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience preferredAt least 1 years logistics experience preferredStrong communication and persuasion skillsHigh level of motivation, competitiveness, and resilienceTechnical AptitudeAbility to understand and explain APIs, integrations, and web-based platformsComfort discussing technical solutions with both technical and non-technical audiencesExpertise in Priority1’s API documentation (can be taught this level of expertise)Preferred QualificationsExperience in SaaS, logistics, or technology salesFamiliarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)Exposure to supply chain, freight brokerage, or transportation servicesBasic understanding of REST APIs, EDI, or system integrationsCompensation & Benefits$45,000-$50,000 Base Salary, Plus CommissionsMedical Insurance with premiums paid at 100% for employees AND dependentsDental Insurance 100% paid for EmployeeVision InsuranceHSA with Employer ContributionsLife InsuranceShort Term DisabilityLong Term Disability401(k) PlanProfit Sharing: Typical annual contribution of 15% of total eligible compensationPaid Holidays AND PTOCancer, Critical Illness, and Accident Policies availableWork EnvironmentOn-site in Little Rock, ARHigh-energy, performance-driven sales cultureStructured training program with ongoing mentorshipEmphasis on internal promotion and career growth#ZR#IndeedsalesEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
