For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Developer Delivery Platform to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annuallyResponsibilities Evolve progressive delivery processes with Argo Rollouts and GitOps methodologies Optimize CI/CD infrastructure to enhance speed and reliability for numerous services Design deployment safety mechanisms such as automated quality checks and health validations Develop monitoring and alerting dashboards for deployment observability with Datadog Lead initiatives to improve system reliability and resilience, including chaos testing Collaborate with teams to address deployment challenges and implement solutions Mentor and provide support to developers across the organization, enhancing their skills and knowledgeQualifications 7+ years of software development experience, particularly in platform engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, or site reliability engineering Proficient with Kubernetes and GitOps workflows, specifically ArgoCD; familiar with progressive delivery techniques Skilled in building and maintaining CI/CD systems with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar Experience in reliability engineering and creating observable systems using Datadog or Prometheus Technical versatility in multiple programming languages such as TypeScript, Ruby, Python, or Kotlin Knowledge of AWS and Terraform for infrastructure automation and reliability Strong collaboration and mentorship skills, focused on making colleagues successfulBenefits Top-tier health benefits and life insurance coverage Long-term group savings plan with employer match via the company for Business 20 vacation days, 4 wellness days, and unlimited sick/mental health days Opportunity to work outside Canada for up to 90 days a year Inclusive employee resource groups supporting diversity and community Flexible hybrid work environment with a team of over 1,500 dedicated professionalsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
