Program Manager - MidThe Program Manager will work on multiple programs/systems for the Operations Business Transformation team. The Program Manager will interact with various levels of Operations management, project and program team members, both business and technical as well as subject manager experts, to provide key project management and governance support.The Program Manager will be working with matrixed teams, systems changes, and process improvements, to drive successful Operations changes. This requires a program manager with a solid business background, process-oriented, with solid communications and learning capability. This is not a technology PM role.The Program Manager will be expected to:Demonstrate solid project management standards, reporting, and best practices to monitor and ensure IT projects are on track for scope, schedule, and cost.Prepare and maintain integrated master project schedules using MS Project.Lead team meetings with business and technical membersManage project budgets, forecasting, financials and variances for status reports to leadershipPrepare and maintain portfolio roadmaps, transformation strategy materials, analyze and report on data trends and portfolio metricsReviews, approves and ensures development and maintenance of all required project documents based on Amtrak's project management lifecycle, i.e., business cases, project charters, requirements, status reports, stage gate materials, communications plan, RAID log, etc.
