IT Project Manager III

NOTE: - Only Local candidate that can work a hybrid schedule .Likely to extend 6 months at a time Manager Prefers a local candidate that can work a hybrid schedule Summary: The role involves managing IT projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring project completion using standard processes and tools. It requires understanding and learning project documentation requirements and collaborating with non-IT stakeholders. The team consists of 9 individuals including compliance analysts, business analysts, a release manager, and a Java developer. Roles & Responsibilities: Coordinate and complete projects within the IT department. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress. Build and maintain relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments. Prepare project status reports for upper management. Utilize extensive experience and judgment to plan and achieve project goals. Lead and direct the work of others with creativity and latitude. Secure funding, build business cases, define planned value/benefit realization, and drive projects effectively. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of related experience. Familiarity with various IT concepts, practices, and procedures. Strong experience in securing funding, business case development, and project value realization. Required Skills: Strong facilitation skills. Knowledge of project management tools. Working knowledge of all project phases. Business case and benefits development. Budget management and reporting. Nice-To-Have Skills: Knowledge of Energy and utilities sector. Experience with Oracle Fusion for project management and budgeting. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Certification Requirements: No specific certification required, but samples of past work are requested. Experience Requirements: 7-8 years of relevant experience.
