Data Engineer

Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $26.42hr - $44.04hrRequirement/Must Have:Strong Python development experience. 3+ years.Hands-on experience with PySpark and Pandas. 3+ years.Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines 3+ years.Experience in architecture and developing REST APIs and data services.Strong SQL skills (Oracle preferred; experience with any major relational database is acceptable) 3+ years.Responsibilities:Design and build reliable, scalable data pipelines to support analytics and operational workloads.Develop and maintain REST APIs and data services to expose data assets to downstream consumers.Work with large datasets using PySpark, Pandas, and Databricks to transform and process data at scale.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions in the AI space.Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the applications being developed.Document data architectures, pipelines, and processes for team knowledge sharing.Nice to Have:Experience with cloud storage platforms such as OCI, Azure, GCP, AWS, or similar.Experience working in Linux environments.Familiarity with the Hadoop ecosystem and distributed data processing frameworks.Experience with Databricks.Skills:Fluent level of communication skills.Oral and written communication skills, problem solving and teamwork skills.SQL / PL SQL Certified.Visual Basic / VB Script experience.Knowledge of Report.NET or Cognos is a plus.
