Job DetailsDescriptionCraft Specialist Position- CentralThe Fedway Craft Spirits Specialist is a dynamic position in one of the hottest categories in the NJ Spirits Market. The Specialist works as an extension of the general sales force to build and promote the craft spirits portfolio. This role will require daily travel throughout the assigned territory, including the counties of Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, and parts of Mercer and Warren.Role & ResponsibilityThe Craft Spirit Specialist Position includes (but is not limited to):Work in your territory of accounts to increase sales of Fedway Craft Spirits PortfolioReport on market trends and hot craft categories Conduct monthly supplier and sales rep work-withs to secure placements of Craft Portfolio items Train/Educate staff within your account territory on Craft Portfolio items and best selling practices Merchandise your accounts with appropriate POS such as shelf talkers, bottle glorifiers, barware, etc. to increase product exposure to account clienteleAssist On-Premise accounts with development of cocktail menus and secure placements of Craft Portfolio items Daily Reporting of account visits, product presentations, sales rep/supplier work-withs, and coordinated dinners/events in Achieve Monthly Craft Goals tracked in Program AdvisorAttend GSM presentations and assist suppliers in after meeting tastings to increase sales rep awareness Evening events and limited overnight travel Required SkillsProven experience in spirits sales or related fieldStrong understanding of the craft spirits marketExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and achieve sales targetsFamiliarity with Central New Jersey marketsEducation, Certifications And /or LicensesBachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAble to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as neededMust possess a valid driver's license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance by state lawsPhysical DemandsMay require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 40lbsCompensationSalary starts at $66,000/annually commensurate with experienceMonthly bonus opportunityThis position is eligible for a company carFull benefit package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401K, and life insuranceWe E Verify
