Talent Acquisition Specialist – DOT & OperationsSacramento, California$80,000 – $95,000 annually DOEFull Time | Non-Exempt | On SiteA well established and growing organization is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high volume recruiting efforts for DOT regulated commercial drivers and operational staff throughout the Sacramento area.This role is heavily focused on sourcing and hiring Class A & B CDL professionals while also supporting recruiting efforts for operations, administrative, and field-based positions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience recruiting within transportation, logistics, manufacturing, construction, or other operational environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead full cycle recruiting efforts for DOT regulated Class A & B CDL drivers and operational positionsPartner with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities and workforce needsDevelop recruiting strategies to attract qualified driver and operations talentSource candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, recruiting events, and outreach effortsConduct candidate screening, interviews, and hiring coordinationManage pre-employment and onboarding processes including DOT related compliance requirementsMaintain recruiting pipelines and ATS recordsTrack recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and staffing progressRepresent the organization at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activitiesSupport hiring initiatives across multiple departments as business needs evolveQualifications5+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experiencePrior experience recruiting CDL drivers or DOT regulated employees strongly preferredKnowledge of DOT hiring requirements and driver qualification processesExperience using ATS systems and recruiting platformsExperience with Tenstreet or similar driver recruiting platforms is a plusStrong communication and relationship building skillsAbility to work independently in a fast paced environmentStrong organizational and follow through abilitiesScheduleMonday through Friday8:00 AM to 5:00 PMOccasional travel to recruiting events, job fairs, and operational sites as neededOccasional weekend recruiting support based on hiring demandsBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with company matchEmployer paid Life Insurance and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending AccountsPet InsurancePaid Time Off and HolidaysPay Transparency NoticeThe compensation range for this position is $80,000 – $95,000 annually.
