We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide in-office support and serve as backup on our phones for a busy estate planning, probate, guardianship, and litigation practice in Arizona.About The RoleIn-office position supporting attorneys, paralegals, and the operations teamServes as backup on incoming phone calls and client communicationsHelps keep the office running smoothly for both staff and clientsCompensation$45,000 - $55,000 yearlyResponsibilitiesAnswer and route incoming calls, take detailed messages, and provide friendly, professional client serviceGreet clients and visitors, manage the reception area, and handle in-office client needsSchedule and confirm appointments, maintain attorney and office calendarsPrepare, proofread, and format letters and basic legal documents from templates under attorney supervisionScan, file, and organize physical and electronic documents in the case management systemAssist with mailing, copying, office supply management, and other administrative tasks as neededQualificationsPrior experience in a law firm, legal assistant, or receptionist role preferred, but strong administrative experience will be consideredExcellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills, and a client-service mindsetStrong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow established processesComfortable learning legal software and working with digital files and calendarsReliable, punctual, and able to work in the office during regular business hoursAbout CompanyWe are a dynamic law firm specializing in probate administration and probate litigation, serving clients across Arizona.
