This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality systems that ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and internal standards. Work Model: On-Site What You Will Do: Lead all quality activities for assembly operations, including incoming, in process, and final inspection Develop, maintain, and improve quality management systems (QMS) aligned with customer requirements Manage root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Why Partner with Assembly, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to drive process improvements and defect reduction Establish and monitor quality KPIs; analyze trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives Lead internal and external audits, including customer and supplier quality audits Oversee nonconforming material disposition, MRB activities, and change control Coach, mentor, and develop quality technicians and inspectors Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer specific requirements Support new product introductions and engineering changes from a quality perspective What You Will Need to Be Successful: Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 8+ years of quality management experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment Experience with assembly processes, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and SPC Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization Proficiency with quality tools, data analysis, and ERP/MES systems Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills ASQ certification or the ability to obtain (preferred) Experience in regulated or high-reliability manufacturing environments (preferred) Lean / Six Sigma training or certification (preferred) Benefits Overview: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k PTO Interested and qualified candidates can contact Eric Peterson at (515) 225-7000 or email epeterson@thepalmergroup.com.
