Cheyenne AveLame Deer, MT 59043Client: Indian Health ServiceJob SummaryThe Laboratory Technician II/III supports clinical laboratory operations by performing diagnostic testing, specimen collection, and analysis. This role ensures accurate and timely lab results while maintaining compliance with federal and clinical standards within an IHS facility.Work Schedule~ Monday – Friday~7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (shift assigned by Laboratory Supervisor)~ Closed on federal holidaysKey ResponsibilitiesPerform laboratory testing in areas such as:HematologyClinical chemistryUrinalysisMicrobiologySerologyCollect specimens using venipuncture and capillary methodsPrepare and process samples (blood, urine, stool, etc.)Operate laboratory equipment (centrifuges, analyzers, microscopes)Review and verify test results for accuracyPerform quality control, calibration, and maintenanceMaintain accurate documentation and patient recordsSupport overall laboratory workflow and operationsMinimum QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related fieldCertification meeting CLIA requirements (preferred)BLS (Basic Life Support) certificationExperience RequiredLab Technician II: 2–4 years of experienceLab Technician III: 4–6+ years of experienceExperience in hospital or clinical lab setting preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentProficiency with laboratory equipment and proceduresGood communication and patient interaction skillsAbility to handle diverse patient populations (newborn to elderly)About Encode INCAt Encode, we empower organizations and individuals through innovative, human-centric workforce and technology solutions.
