This role focuses on inspecting, repairing, calibrating, and supporting customer instruments while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely turnaround. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and working in a structured environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate instruments while following detailed procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy. Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding service updates, estimates, and technical support. Coordinate loaner equipment and outbound shipments, and partner with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain accurate service records and documentation, assist with reporting, and support ongoing process improvements. Occasional local site visits may be required.Qualifications2-3 years of experience in a service technician or mechanical repair role is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow precise procedures are essential. Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required.Preferred qualifications include bilingual skills (Japanese or Spanish) and experience in scientific, agricultural, food/beverage, chemical, or clinical environments, though these are not required.What We're Looking ForA hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with technical systems and delivering excellent customer service.
