Primarily Day ShiftVarious Locations: Stowe, North Canton, New Philadelphia, Belpre, Portage, AmherstFull-time, Part-time, PRNSummary:The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate/assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.Responsibilities:1. Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.2. Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed.3. Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient/family education, per division protocols.4. Supervises COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.5. Other duties as required.Other information:Technical Expertise1. Experience in occupational therapy is required.2. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.3. Experience in healthcare is preferred.4. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.Education and Experience1. Education: Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.2. Certification: Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.3. Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.4. Years of experience supervising: None.
