Forward Deployed Engineer

Our client is a YC-backed fintech startup looking for Forward Deployed Engineers to join the team!This company is rebuilding how America's banks process small business loans. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll embed with bank teams, deeply understand how they work, and build software that transforms their day-to-day.What you'll be doing:Embedding on-site with bank teams to understand their workflows inside and outBuilding and deploying AI-powered automations that replace manual processesOwning the full lifecycle of what you build - from scoping through productionTraveling on-site to client locations roughly one week per monthWhat we're looking for:Strong engineering ability in TypeScript, React, and Next.jsExperience close to real users - founding engineer, early-stage startup, or forward deployed backgroundSomeone who gets obsessed with the customer's problem and builds their way through ambiguityExcitement about regular travel and on-site customer workThis is an on-site role based in San Francisco. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
