Lead DevOps Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in on-premise environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes using tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git, Nexus, Tosca, Sonar Qube, and more. This role focuses heavily on performing technical tasks and requires minimal mentoring responsibilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable software delivery processes.Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for on-premise environments.Manage and optimize tools such as Jenkins, Git, Jira, Nexus, Tosca, and SonarQube to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring processes.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to DevOps tools and environments.Ensure high availability, performance, and security of on-premise environments.Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (on-premise setups).Maintain documentation for processes, pipelines, and environments.Required Skills and Qualifications3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in on-premise environments.Strong proficiency with Jenkins, Git, Jira, Nexus, Tosca, and SonarQube.Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) in on-premise environments.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Solid understanding of infrastructure as code and configuration management principles.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with performance tuning and security hardening of on-premise environments.Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) in hybrid environments is a plus.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) are an advantage.
