Material Program Manager - Remote
Overview:
In this Material Program Manager role, you will develop and execute material strategies to ensure flawless end-to-end procurement and material flow for the AN/SPY-6(V) integration program. You will partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to drive supplier engagement, contract paperwork, and PO lifecycle in a matrix environment. You'll manage supplier proposals, RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, and ensure adherence to policies while accelerating cycle times. This role supports a mission to advance advanced radar systems for national defense, offering meaningful impact in safeguarding operations. Responsibilities:
- Generate RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals/quotes
- Create purchase requests (RFM/STPR) and manage PO placement
- Drive purchase requisition generation and PO lifecycle
- Follow applicable policies to perform MPM tasks
- Coordinate with production control and procurement for handoffs
- Collaborate with program/cross-functional teams for supply chain requests
- Facilitate creation or updates of PIA/NDA for new suppliers
- Work with Procurement to streamline PO cycle time
Key requirements:
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with 3+ years
- Minimum 3 years experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurementpreferred: experience with non-deliverable services POs, MRP and/or Logisticsself-starterstrong collaborationcross-functional communication
