Food Production Manager

POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple product lines. This role is responsible for production execution, staff management, batch record oversight, and operational efficiency. You will be the key driver ensuring production runs smoothly, on schedule, and in compliance with GMP standards. This is not a desk-only roleyou will be actively involved on the production floor. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Production ManagementOversee daily production across gummies, powders, capsules, and specialty formats Build and manage production schedules to meet client deadlines Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials Troubleshoot production issues in real-time Oversee Batching Batch Records & ComplianceCreate, review, and verify Master Batch Records (MBRs) and Batch Production Records (BPRs) Ensure all documentation meets GMP / CFR111 standards Implement and maintain double QC verification processes Work closely with Quality to ensure product consistency and complianceTeam LeadershipManage, train, and develop production staff and leads Set daily production goals and hold team accountable Maintain a clean, organized, and GMP-compliant facility Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and accountability Operations & EfficiencyIdentify and implement process improvements Reduce waste and increase throughput Coordinate with R&D, Packaging, and Inventory teams Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and maintainedQUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED3+ years experience in manufacturing production management Experience in food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or edible production Strong understanding of batch records and GMP processes Proven ability to manage teams and production schedules Hands-on, problem-solving mindset Team Player PREFERREDExperience with gummies or confectionery production Familiarity with multi-line manufacturing environments Experience in high-mix, fast-paced production settings COMPENSATION$95,000 $110,000 base salary (based on experience) Paid Time Off Opportunity for growth as the company scalesSCHEDULEFull-time, on-site in Tampa, FL Must be available to support production schedules as needed WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:We are not looking for someone to manage from a distance.
