Role: SQL Server Datawarehouse ArchitectLocation: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid role – 3 days/week)Job DescriptionA SQL Server Data Warehouse Architect designs and optimizes enterprise-level data storage solutions, mapping business needs to technical architectures.Key responsibilities include designing data models, tables, loading patterns, indexing strategies, optimizing SQL Server T-SQL performance, and ensuring data integrity.Core ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Design: Develop end-to-end data warehouse structures within Microsoft SQL Server.Data Modelling & ETL: Design logical/physical data models and robust ETL/ELT workflows.Performance Optimization: Tune SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures to ensure fast data retrieval.Governance & Security: Define data standards, security policies, and documentation to ensure compliance.Collaboration: Work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical specifications.Key QualificationsExperience: 10+ years in data warehousing, data engineering, or solution architecture.Technical Expertise: Expert-level SQL Server (T-SQL) and query plan analysis.Data Modelling: Proficient with data modelling and tools like ER/Studio or Erwin.
