Tech Support & Compliance Analyst
Position SummaryThe IT Tech Support & Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to end users while ensuring the organization maintains compliance with applicable IT standards, regulations, and internal policies. This role blends hands-on troubleshooting with documentation, auditing, and process improvement to support a secure and efficient IT environment.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience2–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.KnowledgeStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and business systems.Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, systems integration, and cybersecurity.SkillsExcellent communication, and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop supportFamiliarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networkingExperience with ticketing systems and remote support toolsHigh attention to detail, especially with documentation and compliance tasksAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyUnderstanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and access controlJob ResponsibilitiesTechnical SupportProvide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network issuesRespond to helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot problems, and resolve in a timely mannerInstall, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devicesSupport Microsoft 365, email systems, and business applicationsAssist with onboarding/offboarding employees (account setup, access control, equipment provisioning)Maintain IT asset inventory and documentationCompliance & SecuritySupport IT compliance initiativesAssist in maintaining and updating IT policies, procedures, and documentationParticipate in internal and external audits by gathering evidence and responding to requestsMonitor user access and permissions to ensure proper controls are in placeHelp enforce cybersecurity best practices, including password policies, MFA, and endpoint protectionTrack and remediate compliance gaps or vulnerabilitiesSystems & Process ImprovementIdentify recurring technical issues and recommend long-term solutionsAssist in system updates, patching, and maintenance schedulesContribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and documentationSupport backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity effortsInternal and External RelationshipsThis position interacts with many internal departments including Production, Quality and regularly.
