The teacher fosters students' ability to apply biblical truth to their daily lives, relationships, and future calling.Spiritual LeadershipEncourage students to grow in their personal relationship with Christ and understand the message of salvation.Serve as a Christ-like role model in both word and action, demonstrating faith in everyday life.Create and maintain a classroom environment that is Christ-centered, respectful, and nurturing.Collaborate with administration and faculty to support the spiritual development of students.Lead or participate in spiritual life activities such as chapel services, student gatherings, and occasional faculty or parent events.Academic LeadershipDemonstrate a strong understanding of the Christian philosophy of education and a commitment to teaching from a biblical worldview.Develop and implement engaging Bible curriculum aligned with high school learning objectives and departmental scope and sequence.Understand the developmental needs of high school students, including their academic, emotional, and spiritual challenges.Design lessons that meet diverse learning styles and encourage critical thinking, discussion, and application of Scripture.Utilize effective teaching strategies and technology to enhance student engagement and learning.Assess student progress regularly and communicate clearly and consistently with parents regarding academic performance.Respond to parent communication in a timely and professional manner (within 24 hours).Engage in ongoing professional development through reading, coursework, school training, and conferences.
